G11 is a good weapon, but not that good in close range..

G11 Is A Real Bad Ass on medium, big maps. One of my favourite following the M16 (which i think has been underpowered comparing to MW2 or COD4). I use it on small maps too, but having it equipped i have to play tactically instead of rush-in on their next spawn.

Steady Aim takes care of that and if you have the pro version you aim quicker after running and knife quicker so that helps aswell close range.
