☯Inferno's Kill-Streak Guide☯
Hello NGU, I here will be giving a guide on the kill-streaks you earn on Black Ops.
NOTE: I will not be going over every single kill-streak.

Spy Plane (3)- The Spy Plane requires for you to get 3 kills to get it (2 with hardline). I myself, don't see quite many people using it. I think it's one of the most useful killstreaks. It basically shows the enemy's location. When using it just look at the map and it can help you pre-aim, so you can be almost guaranteed to get the kill.
RC-XD (3)- The RC-XD requires 3 kills, and is a remote controlled car with explosives attached. This would be really useful when you play like domination or Headquaters, because they could be capping a flag/objective and you could use your RC-XD to get there fast and hopefully get a kill or more and help the team from losing. The RC-XD is also known for it's speed.
SAM Turret (4)- The SAM Turret requires 4 kills to get it, and comes in the form of a care package. The SAM Turret is a very useful kill-streak, you can take down any aircraft in the air. This is really good with people on the enemy team who have spy planes up in the air, and really good when the enemy team has those bigger kill-streaks. Also, a good tip is to put it somewhere around the edges of the maps, rather than in the middle where everyone can see it.
Care Package (5)- The care package is a really nice kill-streak. It requires 5 kills yo get it. If you use hardline pro, this will be the best way to get the kill-streak you want. For example, say you get ammo and you don't want it, then with hardline pro, you can change the content of it by double tapping square, and will most likely get a better kill-streak.
Napalm Strike (5)- The napalm strike requires 5 kills to get. It is very useful when you are playing a game mode that has an objective. It can cover an area and slowly burns, which is great when you need more points, so just put it over the objective, and aim it to the direction you want it to go, and it can help you win.
Sentry Gun (6)- The sentry gun requires 6 kills to get. When playing it's great to use it for spawn-trapping or an area that the enemy's come from. A good way to not get the sentry gun destroyed is by putting it on corners where they can't knife it (unless they have ghost pro), but watch out for people with launchers.
Blackbird (8 ) The Blackbird requires 8 kills to get. It shows the enemy location and direction. This is VERY useful, it helps you get kills, kill-streaks, and helps to win the game. A good way to guarantee you get the kill is to pre-fire. For example, lets say the enemy is about to turn the corner you would start to shoot before he even turns the corner and he wouldn't be able to shoot back as quick.
Chopper Gunner (9)- The chopper gunner requires 9 kills to get. It's good to help out your team and clear the path or tell them where the enemy is, like if they are in a building where you can't get them. Also, it's a very good way to rack up lots of kills, but the downside is that it can get shot down pretty quick. So don't use it right away if it's the beginning of the round, you can but when I do it usually gets shot down.
Attack Dogs (11)- The attack dogs require 11 kills. The dogs are great, because it's a 1 bite kill, but they can be killed. This is great if you hate campers the dogs would kill them. Also, if you use chopper and dogs, the dogs can get the people in the building and you get most of the people outside. Also, make sure no enemy aircraft is up when using them.
Gunship (11)- The Gunship requires for you to get 11 kills to get it, (10 with hardline) and its a helicopter that allows you to control it yourself, and fire at will with its infinite turret and two rocket launchers. I use it because it is very powerful against the enemy if you get one. The best way to get this killstreak is to use the Spy Plane/Blackbird combination to constantly see the enemy. Also, dont rush into the enemy. You should take a little more laid back approach if you want this killstreak. Once you get it, unless its shot down very quickly, you will cause some serious damage to the other team no matter what game type you're in. In Team deathmatch, its almost a guaranted win. The best tip for this, keep your Gunship pointed towards their spawn
