Post: Some Very Cool Black Ops Info

Just Thought these were very cool and some not well known.

Useful Information

- The M16 is the only weapon whose centertime is increased with the addition of an ACOG or IR scope, which decreases recoil.
- The M14 & FN FAL will jam if fired too quickly. Although it jams in order to prevent the use of modded controllers, players with a fast finger will find this annoying.
- When the user rapidly fires the FN FAL there is no delay between mutiple shots, unlike the M14, which has this delay.
- The Kiparis has a much higher bullet penetration than a normal Submachine Gun.
- Though almost without notice, the SUSAT (ACOG) scope and Variable Scope increase accuracy for "quickscoping".
- The PSG1's stomach hit multiplier grants a 1hit kill if NO attachments are put on.
- In the DS version, the player can make the Stakeout semi-auto by mashing the fire button.
- Grip on the stakeout increases its RPM.
- The supressor on a Spas-12 brings about no penalties.
- Dual Pythons grant a free speed loader
- The Full Auto attachment on the CZ75 decreases damage by 25%
- When the suppressed CZ75 is paired with the suppressed PSG1, the CZ75 loses its suppressor.
- When using the Makarov and Second Chance on the DS version, you will drop down with a free supressor.
- For the first 15 seconds of a match, any grenades from a grenade launcher will never explode.
- When using the Ballistic knife, the player has to pull a pin the first time he switches to it. It's useful to 'prime' it for a quicker swap by switching when you spawn, getting the pin out, then proceeding as normal.
- The Ballistic Knife's "long shot" range is significantly shorter than anything else in the game, allowing for a pretty easy time getting them for challenges and contracts.
- If the player fires the ballistic knife into an enemy's gun, it will count as a headshot.
- When a player is directly impacted with a frag to the chest, the frag will be lodged into the enemy's chest, inflicting multiple impact damages until death.
- It is possible to kill two enemies with one Tomahawk if it skims the backs of the enemies.
- The tomahawk is capable of taking down killstreaks.
- Water will negate any equipment and tactical grenade.
- The Camera Spike is not included in the Wii version of Black Ops.
- The Camera Spike cannot be used in Split-Screen mode, both offline and online.
- You can plant friendly C4 on a friendly RC car. Using communication, the driver of the RC can tell the C4 user when to detonate the C4, saving the car and allowing the car user to carry on and find another target.
- The Flamethrower attachment is not available on the Wii due to large amounts of lag occurring when it is used.
- Unlike previous titles, you will not feel the affects of tactical grenades while operating killstreaks.
- While in Second Chance, you can not go downstairs. You can, however, go upstairs.
- You can still survive any fall damage by landing on (Or moderately close to) another player.
- Apparently you can no longer kill yourself with a Tomahawk. I've seen it happen in someone's fileshare before, but it may have been patched.

Cool Info To Know:

- The Enfield is one of the few weapons that is reloaded with the player's right hand.
- Below the iron sights on the FAMAS, the player can see 'IIIARC' engraved into the gun. A reference to Treyarch.
- Israel is misspelled "Isreal" on the side of the Galil.
- The ACOG scope is replaced with the Swarovski Scope on the AUG.
- For the AUG, there is a glitch when the player uses Red Dot Sight attachment. The Red Dot Sight will look unconnected to the gun, and hover above the gun.
- Emblems on the FAL appear 'backwards" or as a mirror image of the emblem.
- There are only 3 guns with square Red Dot Sights. The AK74u, AK47, and RPK.
- The G11 does not drop bullet cases when fired because it uses caseless ammunition.
- The AK74u uses a unique grenade launcher, the Tishina.
- The PM63 is uniquely named "PM63 Folding Stock" in game when equipped with the Grip attachment.
- "Kiparis" means "Cypress" in Russian.
- The MPL, along with the PM63, are the only firearms where you can see the emblem while in ADS.
- Unique to the RPK, the player actually throws the magazine up and catches it to reload.
- When extended mags are equipped to the M60, it is re-named "M60 Big Ammo"
- An M60 with Red Dot Sight will erroneously be named M60 Reflex .
- The Stoner63 is the only LMG without a Bipod.
- On shells ejected from the Olympia, the word SPICY 3" appears
- The Stakeout, Spas-12, and Olympia all gain golden shells when using golden camo. However, the shells will be ejected red (Unique to Stakeout).
- The SPAS-12 is reloaded with the left hand, whereas in Modern Warfare 2, the SPAS-12 is reloaded with the right hand.
- The 'snub nose' attachment for the Python isn't an attachment; it's a detachment.
- The Python is capable of some element of gore. It can decapitate and 'Gib' an opponent.
- The M1911 Dual Wield has a unique draw and empty reload animation; where it spins like the Model 1887 but only to reload.
- Posters detailing the specifications of the Makarov can be found in the Modern Warfare 2 map Salvage.
- "Strela" means "arrow" in Russian.
- On the Wii version the Crossbow can be tilted sideways, making it look like a bow & arrow.
- If an empty Crossbow is switched to, it will load a 'phantom' arrow.
- The Semtex is labeled as C4
- The Tomahawk will never stick in a wall or ceiling.
- On the side of the box near the bottom of the camera, the word 'KampTek' is written. Get it? For campers. >.>
- A Treyarch logo can be seen on the label of the Tactical Insertion while prepping it.
- If a claymore is planted while a host change occurs, after it detonates the lasers remain.
- On the Wii version of Call of Duty: Black Ops, the color of the dot cannot be changed.
- When attached to Russian weapons (AK47, 74u, RPK, Dragunov), the reticle changes. Russian version uses a -^-, other use _._
- The ammo box for the Chopper Gunner displays "TR3Y ARCH"
- Spy Planes fly Clockwise around the map and Counter-Spy Planes Fly Counter-Clockwise.

General Facts!:

- G11 has SMG hip fire spread
- G11 fires it's 3 burst considerably faster than the M16
- M16 has 33% extra maximum damage range in comparison to all other assault rifles when un-suppressed
- AK47 and Commando are statistically speaking the same gun, the only difference being the iron sights
- Enfield has SMG ADS speed (0.2 seconds)
- MPL and Kiparis have Assault Rifle ADS speed (0.25 seconds)
- Kiparis has Assault Rifle bullet penetration
- Stakeout has the tightest hip fire spread amongst the Shotguns
- ADSing with Shotguns tightens the buckshot spread to beyond hip fire spread, unless Steady Aim is used
- Buckshot spread with Shotguns does not widen when moving whilst in ADS
- Attaching the Grip to the Stakeout increases the maximum RPM, allowing you to to shoot up to an extra 17 rounds in a minute
- Attaching the Dual Wield to the HS-10 not only widens the hip fire spread dramatically, but also decreases the range of maximum damage for the HS-10 AND decreases the range in which the HS-10 can damage by 2.5 metres
- Stoner 63 has Assault Rifle ADS speed, NOT LMG ADS speed
- L96A1 has a x1.5 multiplier to the biceps, no other sniper has this multiplier
- Python has a tigther hip fire spread than the other Pistols
- Attaching the Full-Auto Upgrade to the CZ75 gives it a RPM of 535, slower than its maximum RPM when fired semi automatically at 625
- The Flamethrower attachment has a similar range to shotguns
- Flak Jacket in Hardcore multiplies explosive damage by x0.09, as opposed to x0.35 in Core
- Flak Jacket Pro DOES NOT make you immune to fire damage, it only multiplies fire damage by x0.05
- The Spy Plane lasts for 40 seconds, not 30
- The Counter Spy Plane lasts for 30 seconds
- The weapons with the highest DPS are as follows: M60, Skorpion, ASP, then Stoner63.
- Flak Jacket, without any prior damage, can fully protect you from any non-killstreak explosives.
- Flak Jacket Pro can fully absorb a Napalm strike directly on the player, including residual fire afterward.
- The Gunship's rockets, as well as Valkyrie Rockets, are incapable of getting a hitmarker, barring Second Chance invulnerability and Flak Jacket.
- Spy Planes are only viewable by the enemy for 62.5% of their time active.
- Supressors do not affect recoil. They only reduce range at which you're doing the most damage possible. Essentially lowering damage.

its just saying that the tomahawk actually does damage and if the gunship or other ks is damaged enough, can take it out. Its not a one hit by any means. :p

FAL and M14 Lock Up Everytime I Shoot Too Fast.
