Post: How to play the Objective

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Alright, I've seen just too many people sit in a corner with Ghost Pro and a silenced AUG. Two words for them: Faggot campers. Since a lot of people don't bother playing the objective (capping the flag in Domination especially), here's a little tut. Mainly for Domination.

Perks
Lightweight / Ghost / Flak Jacket
Lightweight
Helps you get to objectives faster, and no falling damage is cool too (especially for that quick dolphin dive to B on Launch. You should know what I'm talking about.... If you play the objective)

Ghost
Only use if they have spy planes or if you're getting pissed on by air support.

Flak Jacket
Really really useful on smaller maps when there are millions of nade spots. Also great for the random bullshit *cough*RCcars*cough*

Sleight of Hand
Easily the best 2ndslot perk. Pretty self explanatory.

Warlord ONLY IF YOU HAVE PRO
The extra nades will help, for both capping and defending.

Marathon
Need I say more? Please use this when you're playing Domination. I'm begging you.

Ninja
For those sneaky people, but Marathon is a *much* better choice.

Weapon
Use an SMG, it has a really good mobility rate, which is what you need. If you're in a huge map like Cracked or Array, then stick with an Assault Rifle, and if you know that no one's there, run with a pistol. Honestly, that helps a LOT.

Nades
To start the game off, I really recommend using a Smoke. Smokes are also helpful if you're down by quite a bit. Nova Gas also works too (use a tac mask), and if you're using Warlord, it'd be good since you'd get two. For lethals, use the Semtex, as Frags do take a while to cook, and you don't have that time if you want to capture flags.

Playing Style
To start off, if you're playing with a party that have mics, get ONE person to cap the flag you spawn by, and have the rest of your team to go B flag. If enemies are there, you'll *probably* outnumber them and take them out, and if they aren't throw a smoke and cap that B flag. The B flags are crucial to winning a game. I personally much rather have the B flag than having the A&C. If you do have the B flag only, figure out which direction enemies are coming from. The skull icon really helps, as does your radar. Cap the flag where there's fewer enemies, obviously.

Again, the B flag is what you're trying to hold the whole game. Losing that will be hard to gain back (on maps like Jungle, Array, Nuketown, Firing Range, it'll be super duper challenging).

A note on 3 capping: I wouldn't recommend it, unless you're down. When you do 3 cap, the enemies will probably spawn directly across the map from where your teams are and cap that flag. If you do defend the flags and manage to 3 cap for a while, enemies will spawn everywhere, and we all know BlackOps spawning system if friggin horrible.

KillStreaks
UAV, Counter UAV, BlackBird. [RECOMMENDED]
Take one for the team. This will help you out sooo much. Your enemies will actually be shitting bricks if they hear: "Enemy SR71 in the Air. Heads up, enemy is jamming our radar. Enemy SR71 spotted. Enemy Spy Plane in the Air".

BlackBird, Chopper, Dogs
Just killwhoring it out. It'll also help your team, because they'll be pissing themselves in a corner when they can hear the dogs barking. That way, it'll be easier to cap that B flag, and maybe even 3 capping.

Some final tips
Play with a party. People in your party will watch your back, and (hopefully) you'll watch theirs. They'll probably respond when you tell them to do something (ex. Cap the A flag). It helps so much being organized playing with people you know than with random people that will probably camp in the corner half the game.

So yeah, hopefully this has taught you a bit to play the objectives. Please don't sit in a corner the whole game in Domination. Please don't get 0 caps and 0 defends. Please don't kill whore. You can do that in TDM and Freeforall. Don't play for the kills, play for the win.

*Note* As you can probably tell, I'm more of that team player. If you like camping in a corner and not moving, and you have fun with that, then it's all good. This is just, IMO, how you SHOULD be playing an objective game, like domination.
