Steps:
1. In your pc, go to You must login or register to view this content.
NOTE:You will need a Youtube account for this
2. Go to "upload" and start uploading any video on your computer.
I recommend a "BIG" video.
3. In your PS3, find any match you want to play (Any gametype), it should get you or your party alone in a lobby.
4. Vote for a map
5. Go back to your computer and cancel the upload.
6. Wait for people to join your lobby.
7. After the "Migrating hosts.." if you still see the votes on the maps the same (not reset) congratulations! You are the host!!
NOTE: If after "Migrating hosts..." the votes get reset all you have to do is backout and do all the process again.
8.ENJOY =D
If you want a video TUT just reply requesting it, although I think is very understandable and easy to do.
NOTE: This works on WIRELESS connections only

Does anyone know of a sure fire way to tell if you are host of the lobby in Bops? I have tried the above method but it does not work. The 'spaces' always show - even when I am not host.
The only way I can tell if im host in the game is if i constantly have 4 green bars (full strength) and no one else in the game does (since its not possible for me to have a bad connection to myself). This method does not work 100% though. The only definite way to tell is to leave the game. If host migration takes place, then I was host.
Referring to OP topic:
I have no problem getting a new lobby made with me as the host. I run into an issue when the lobby migrates the host. I am rarely still host after this occurs, but i dont have any way of telling if i am or not (hence the questions above). Is there any way to prevent or minimize host migration from taking place? Or do i just need a better internet signal, which will allow me to be chosen as host? I apologize for such a wordy post - any ideas would be great!
