Dude, I appreciate your posting this, However; I think you might want to add the extreme difficulty in using this payload. This is not like a psgroove/pl3 pre-compiled payload, that you just slap on your microchip and instantly get balls deep in a NPDRM .SELF file. This is way more complicated than that.
I found a tutorial written by Graf on how to use it, and it involves patching, and sending all commands ASWELL as the .SELF file via ethernet to the machine. Im sure there are very few people here that have enough skills to complete this operation. If you want the tut you can locate via a simple google search. To all the people feverishly waiting for hacks, KEEP WAITING, this is not the answer. The only hope you have is to wait and see if one of the DEV's release a 1.05 ELF.
na method will be simplified, and to bad that there is no 1.05 debug patch. They are no longer released by treyarch.
Little bastard JD 2020 at the end *It will be available for 1200 Microsoft points, and available on 360 first* JD_2020 is a clown.......................
Agreed, JD_2020 has a huge cock up his ass, he prolly got raped in highschool.
The following 5 users say thank you to 68+1 for this useful post:
It is now possible to decrypt npdrm selfs, what does this mean? We can now play black ops mods online.
I would run the payload but I don't have a jailbreak stick anymore, but I'm sure there is someone on here who can for us
Correction: This payload is for the ps3 on firmware 3.41. It uses the ps3 to decrypt the selfs for us like it would do for any game to run it. And then the data is ran through the hypervisor. When it is in the hypervisor the payload "pulls it out" or "dump th hv" and then you have the decrypted file after of course the data is stored in a file.
The black ops eboot is signed with 3.50 keys which use the 3.50 algorithm. So that means that we would have to have this on the 3.50 firmware or above. Which is not possible. So, sorry to tell you this, this will not help us, yet.
The only way this would work is if you ported over the 3.50 or 3.55 self decryption algorithm in a cfw. Which if we did find this algorithm, we wouldnt even need the payload, as we could just use it to decrypt them.
