Basically you follow the steps till you get to go back online to get reset. Then go back copy the eboot over do the same thing again. Delete the patch again then install clean 1 when you go online it will say your stats have been reset but you will be prestige 15 level 50. I think this is due to you cant reset an account that has been reset. I'm rendering a video proving this.
On my friends ps3 is ps3 did freeze on trying to connect which usually means you about to get deranked. He went back on no derank message and he was still prestige 15 level 50 with all the money.

My friend has just recently logged into the account i did it with on different ps3 and it still seems to be fine. My findings confirm it work.

It will eventually put you back.
It may take an hour or so, but it will.

Unless, of course, getting reset removes your stats backup entirely. I believe this may work.

Exactly what i thought when i did it. Ill keep logging in with the account when my friend goes to sleep (2 hours) and i can test then, but so far it seems to have worked. Video is just rendering now. As well as uploading a video proving the accounts that have never been online work.
