Its a console ban. The only way you are going to play black ops online again is to buy a new ps3 system. I am selling my old one and going to buy a new one.

OMFG, it is a Mac address ban. You have had your PS3's Mac address black listed on their servers. Also you can't change your Mac address. You can only just buy a new PS3.

Guys its a console ban. Trust me I have tried to spoof my mac address many times. Thats easy to do, but the only problem is its a console ban not mac or ip. They track you by ur serial number. I would like to hear the results on this test your friend is going to do.
