(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); This is a good strategy I use all the time. I personally find it most effective solo or for 2 people, you can do it with more but generally you'll not have enough points. I will explain this for 2 people, but you can do it solo as well.

This method can be used to rush through the early levels and set yourself up with some quick points, I know some people believe that its best to take it slow and steady but I disagree, this allows you to get to 20+ pretty quickly and from there its more or less smooth sailing assuming you don't completely suck.

Round 1-4
The plan can be simplified to "knife and rush". When you start out in the beginning just knife, do not buy weapons, do not shoot. You should be able to stay in the main room (do not buy any doors or weapons) until at least round 3-5. Before going anywhere make sure you at least each have 3000-4000 points (I'd suggest one person have at least around 4000 and the other no less than 3500 for it to be most effective). Assuming you've divided the windows fairly and are only knifing, it shouldn't take long or be very difficult.

Round (end of) 4
Once you're at that point, start opening doors. I'd suggest you take the route under the stairs that leads into the out door alley way, I find it just generally better, although some may disagree. Whoever has less money should open the first two doors, the other clearing the rest of the doors. If you're pretty much equal, alternate doors (one person does 1 and 3 while the other does 2 and 4). This will ensure a more or less equal spread of money. Your only goal at this point is to make it to the stage. You're going to want to leave at the end of a round (probably end of round 4), if zombies start jumping on you in the alley way just keep going and throw grenades behind you.

Round 5
Once you've made it to the stage you should be able to start killing, shoot if you need to although its better to just knife as you'll only be on round 5. Just sort of share the zombies, and throw grenades if needed (that's important throughout the rest of the guide, don't be grenade-shy).
Remember that your grenade can only hurt you and the zombies, you won't damage your team member(s).

Round 6-7
Save up for 3000 points, when either round five or six comes to an end (however long it takes for you to each get 3000 points) turn on the electricity, the curtain will be open. Sort of across the auditorium from the stage will be the bowie (I think that's how its spelled) knife. Buy the bowie knife and immediately rush back onto the stage. Bear in mind that after purchasing the bowie knife it takes some amount of time before you can actually start knifing with it, so just don't get cornered (it only takes a second or two).

Round 7
You should be good to go only knifing until round 10. At this point the bowie knife is a one hit kill. Shortly after that you should each easily get 2500 points, as soon as you hit that amount, go buy the juggernaut (jugger-nog) upgrade, its nearby the bowie knife. Once you both have the bowie knife and juggernaut you probably won't down for quite a long time.

Round 7-10
Somewhere between round 7-10 you're going to want to try to locate the random weapon box (either by sight or by looking at the map), during these rounds you should start to make your way to it and use the box. One person use it and the other person cover. Each person should not go more than 3 times, at which point if they don't have a decent gun, they should just give up for a bit and come back later. Decent guns include some assault rifles (that don't suck), LMGs, and of course the thunder gun/ray gun. If you get monkeys, definitely by that, they'll come in handy in the event one of you downs. Remember to keep knifing until round 10, if you knife the crawlers that have the greenish smoke coming out of them they won't release gas or explode.

By round 10 you should each have the following: a bowie knife, juggernaut, and a decent random weapon.

Round 10-20
You may need to start shooting after round 10, once you each have 5000 link up the teleporter (between rounds) and pack a punch your random weapon.
From there keep mainly to the stage area, venturing out only to use the random weapon box with the goal of both having either or both: the thunder gun, the ray gun. You'll want to pack a punch these as soon as you get them.

Round 20+
Once you both have at least a pack a punched ray gun and at least one of you has a pack a punched thunder gun, just stay at the stage. Run in circles and use grenades, both knifing and firing that ray gun, if you are being overwhelmed use the thunder gun (or tell your teammate to do so).

I've seen people make it easily to round 50 using this strategy because you get through the early rounds fast and you get the good guns sooner than later. If done right you may have a pack a punched gun by round 7 or 8. You should be set by round 20 to make it for a while.
