Post: Unable to find games on XBOX
01-29-2011, 02:02 AM #1
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I've got a moderate nat type, and when I attempt to find a game it just makes me the host and nobody joins, I just sit there and the game doesn't start.

I've tried putting my xbox on a DMZ, but it doesn't help.

I've also never had connection problems on my ps3 (before I got banned) and my router is fairly new.

So if anyone can help me you'll receive +91 rep if you're able to help me solve my problem Smile

Try restarting your router or modem. Just unplug it and plug it back in.

It's just a suggestion.

What type of router do you have? I had moderate NAT and I couldn't connect to anyone
but then I changed it to OPEN and now it works perfectly.

Well, like the other guys said restart you router.
If nothing happens doing that, try entering your ip in the address bar (under router) Then just check that UpNP is enabled. Then restart you router.

I have had this problem on ps3, you wait a bout 10 minutes of rit to put you in a lobby and then your on your own, you think okay I'll wait. No one joins, ever.

I just waited until the next day and i was fine.

If you want my best help, I have a sky sagem router (UK) and i went to my routers page and made the security from WEP to WPA and performance mode to 54g performance. It made may NAT type open and now i get host so much.

Are you high?
Check your search settings and make sure you have the right ports opened because you shouldn't have a moderate NAT Type

I've noticed this too, i mean for me it just takes a bit longer then on ps3. Here's a tip try port forwarding on your router. go to portforward.com and pick the game and platform. It gives you a step by step tut. Hope it helps Happy
