I'm sure some of you know of it, but most people don't know.
If you've been plagued with the Black Ops Perma Ban, then you can still download this program and play with people over the internet by emulating LAN.
I, for one, love it. I've played a few games with some guys on Black Ops and MW2 over XLink, and it actually works well. Also, there is no bullshit matchmaking to go through, you choose the server you want to join. This helps prevent you getting into a game filled with assholes. If the game has assholes in it, just back out and go to another game.
There are loads of tutorials on the internet for setting this up incase you need help.
The reason I am posting this is because there aren't enough players. If all the banned got this working, then we could have some awesome times on zombies and multiplayer.
This works with 3.55, 3.41, CFW, anything. As long as you can play the game, you can use Xlink. Whenever the bypass gets fixed, I am definitely going to use it a lot. I'd like to have some people to play with, because at the moment, there is only 1 person playing Black Ops over Xlink, which is sad.
Also, this allows us to mod Black Ops without any consequences, which I think is good
Actually, guys, if you're doing this it'd be better to delete the Black Ops EBOOT and Selfs from your PS3 entirely. I can still do mods to the ondisc EBOOTs and stuff.
Don't worry, you can download the 1.06 fastfiles and have stuff like Splitscreen bots
Any already made mod will have to be ported to the ondisc self, which is just the same as a debug self.
