But how much does it all come to , and where can I buy all the stuff needed to record my ps3 . Thanks

a HD PVR is minimum 250 usd i guess, and some cables like hdmi cable and some other u will nee like 350usd for a great HD pvr quality i guess..

i bought a dazzle and it cost me total 70usd and this is my quality:

If u have HD tv dont bother buying dazzle, afterall the pvr is not that expensive. Its like 189 bucks at amazon and the cables are like 10 bucks at max

I got my PVR for $200, it was like $250 buying cables and stuff overall!

HD PVR does not support HDMI. Therefore you cannot record in 1080p :( But it support component cables, that way you can record in either HD 70 or Full HD 1080i.
