Yes u can, make sure u have the actual files like the eboot.bin, like make sure they aren't the modified ones because that's what happened to me, just delete the patch u have and update the patch then go online but you also have to make sure you're using the 3.56 bypass so it doesn't tell u to update ps3 firmware
