No the reset is fixed and without ftp server or the jailbreak you cant do something sry

Well i have a 3.41 jailbroken i did the 1.06 temp file thing on to 1.02 and when i go online it says black ops servers not available (yes i did transfer to a 3.56 unbanned ps3)
am i doing something wrong?

1. Your going to need to download the patch co-responding to your Black Ops BLES/BLUS ID. Here are the different files.

BLES/BLUS Black Ops 1.02 Patches:

2. Open up your FTP server on your PC and copy the t5mp_ps3f.self to your desktop.
(It's located in hdd0>game>BLES01031>USRDIR. Obviously it varies depending on your BLES/BLUS)

3. Delete the 1.05 Black Ops patch from your saved data utility.

4. Copy the patch you downloaded earlier on to your USB stick. Now install the .PKG onto your PS3. Then open your FTP server back up and copy the t5mp_ps3f.self back to where you got it from. Overwrite the existing one.

5. Run EliteMossy's Patch Blocker which can be found here:

Run the PatchBlocker.exe.
Go to network settings on your PS3 > Internet connection settings > Custom.
Go through it all as usual but once you reach proxy server input the IP address it outputs on the patchblocker. (E.G. 192.168.0.5)
Save the settings.
Run the patchblocker and sign in.
If you sign in successfully you have done this correctly.6. After you've got the patch blocker running and your network settings done load up Black Ops.

7. When your on the Multiplayer menu you should see these digits in the top right hand corner of your screen: 53.0.0.0.
(Once you go into an online party it will be more along the lines of 53.37.47.6) This means you've done it correctly. After clicking play online you should've received a reset message. DW about it xD.

NOTE: Do not turn your PS3 off or quit the game during the following steps or you'll be reset to rank 1!


8. Go to LAN party with both your controllers connected. Set up the custom game as you please. I recommend the following settings for maximum XP in shortest time.

Nuketown. Search & Destroy. Unlimited time. Unlimited lives. Headshots only ENABLED. Killcams DISABLED. Health miniscule.
9. After setting up your game go to your friends list. Hit join session on a friend who's in an online match(IMPORTANT - Wont work if in a party). Whilst the "joining session" is loading hit back until your at the main menu. You should get a unable to join/session's full error.

10. Now go back to your custom LAN game and you should still see a little star next to Search & Destroy(if so you did it correctly).

NOTE: Do not select your custom classes or you'll be kicked from the game. Only use the classes they give you! Also it may take a few tries to get you and your 2nd player on different teams!

11. Start the game and repeatedly kill your 2nd player by headshots.
1000xp a kill .

12. Win the game by planting/defusing the bomb.

13. Go to online and prestige(You should be rank 50).

14. Repeat steps 8-13 until you reach your desired prestige. .

15. Once you've reached your desired rank/prestige go ahead and return to the main menu then back to an online party. You'll be pleased to see nothing has been reset. Congratulations!

i am not trying to play online but i can't reset my stats when i click online t just won't connect and i wanna reset my stats

HOW TO RESET BO HACKED ACCOUNT


Okay so most of you may be wondering why would I want to reset my 15th prestige account. Well since I'm still on 3.55 and haven't been banned on BO I decided to try and reset that account so when I update my ps3 I won't be banned. (NOTE THIS IS FOR PEOPLE WHO DID THE EBOOT PRESTIGE HACK AND HAVEN'T BEEN BANNED YET) I did do this on my second account and never played a game on it so to me it was like a virus waiting to be opened. What I mean by that is I'm afraid to use that account because if someone reports me I'm done. I've been trying to figure out how to reset myself for a week now. Since I couldn't figure out a way to bypass the firmware update AND the game updates it was hard. No I couldn't just use the DNS method and Mossy's patchblocker. It doesn't work I promise you. Anyway if you haven't been banned and are scared just follow this tutorial.

1. Download the 1.04 patch: Black Ops 1.04 PKG.rar

2. Put the patch on your usb

3. Now plug USB in your PS3

4. Delete the Black Ops game data

5. Install the 1.04 pkg

6. Now your going to need to bypass the 3.56 firmware update AND game update so just do this.



1. Go on your ps3 and navigate to Internet Connection Settings
(Network Settings -> Internet Connection Settings)

2. Select Custom

3. Pick wireless

4. Just do automatic for IP address settings

5. DHCP, DO NOT USE

6. DNS SETTINGS, Automatic

7. MTU, Automatic

8. Proxy Server, use

9. Now enter this in the address for proxy: bypass356.servehttp.com

10. Put port as 7070

11. UPnP, Enable

12. Sign into your PSN
(wait 30 seconds)

13. Now Go Back To, Settings -> Network Settings -> Internet Connection Settings

14. Select a setting as Custom

15. Wireless

16. IP address settings, Automatic

17. DHCP, DO NOT USE

18. DNS SETTINGS, Automatic

19. MTU, Automatic

20. Proxy Server, USE

21. This time startup Mossy's patchblocker on your computer
(Download it here: PatchBlocker.exe)

22. On your ps3 enter the IP address that shows on Mossy's patchblocker and put your port as 8080

23. Now click start blocking on your computer

24. It should sign you into psn.
7. Now just load up Black Ops and go online

8. It should say you've been reset

9. Now you don't have to worry about being console banned
