The reason i started this thread is because I have been permanently banned from Black Ops on PS3 and I have tried many ways in trying to unban myself but I can't.

If I was you i wouldnt waste my time finding any threads saying permanent unban because it only lasts for 20 mins. You aint going to do much in those 20 mins might be better than nothing but we want a complete removal from the ban so i decided to mail activision.

It appears i have been " console banned " iv'e done some research and under the DMCA 2000

The Digital Multimedia Act of 2000 states that you cannot ban system from a game. You can only ban the account that has been hacked or exploited. Stopping someone from playing a game that they payed for and deserve to play is not legal..

What your doing here Activision is not right. i would like to be unbanned.

They can't legally ban us but then we can't legally hack the game. There is no point ringing them because this is what they say regarding the bans.

"Bans for hacking, cheating or other behavior that violates the terms of service are final and will not be discussed. Activision Customer Support will not be able to reverse any ban on your account. For information on what is a bannable offense."

This is what is put up on the official call of duty website about the bans or hacking or any other things.

Users who have modified their hardware and have run hacked script or code. This includes modifying profile data to use illegal characters in a player’s name.

* • Instant permaban. You will no longer be allowed to play the game online. Console users who modify their hardware or profile data will also be reported to the console manufacturers.


Boosters
Users who organize to exploit the game for the explicit purpose of ranking up very quickly or to appear in a high position on the leaderboards.

* • Minor offense: Temp ban, complete stats reset, leaderboard entries removed once
* • Major offense: Temp ban, complete stats reset, permanent ban from appearing on the leaderboards
* • Extreme or repeat offenses: Permaban from playing the game online


Glitchers
Users who go out of their way to exploit the game to grief other players. An example would be going outside of the map’s clearly defined playable boundary.

* • Minor offense: Temp ban from playing the game online
* • Major offense: Extended temp ban from playing the game online

Offensive emblem makers
Users who create emblems that are sexually gratuitous or racially offensive.

This is going to be one fight tough for the hackers to bypass the bans. Lets see who wins? :dingding:

I will say this was very well thought out thread. There have been numerous(too many) threads about bans/unbanned. I give you credit however for not just coming on here to rant and say how gay Treyarch is or lie and say you didn't like multiplayer anyway. So kudos to you for that.

As far is "let's see who wins, hackers or Treyarch"...Looks like it's pretty obvious who is winning right now.

Pro perk glitches, and even glitches that get you guns early are okay in my book, because they are safer. But when you hack your hardware, then you are asking for trouble one way or another. Very good post though

There is no point wasting money like i said. It is impossible to unabn atm but lets hope the hackers do something for the 50,000 people who are banned including me!
