(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I visited Hong Kong about 5 months ago before Black Ops even came out. When I returned home from the trip Black Ops came out a few weeks after, Thus I started playing single player and saw a familiar map named Kowloon. Just giving a little history on a map called Kowloon. It is an urban city in Hong Kong and it was walled off with it's buildings. Originally a Chinese military fort, the Walled City became an enclave after the New Territories were leased to Britain in 1898. Its population increased dramatically following the Japanese occupation of Hong Kong during World War II. From the 1950s to the 1970s, it was controlled by Triads and had high rates of prostitution, gambling, and drug use. In 1987, the Walled City contained 33,000 residents...just giving a little background info on the map.

Yeah I recently went to kowloon too. But I think the map, or singleplayer at least is based on hong kong, if anyone else noticed, in the singleplayer, a commercial plane flew right along the rooftops and at hong kongs old airport, there were multiple buildings you have to fly right over to get to it

Hong Kong's new airport is really nice now xD, but yeah I wasn't really following single player, what was the reason why they went to Kowloon?

Thanks for the info.

I visited Kowloon in 2009 on a overseas trip, and I must admit, I was excited when I got to play the Single Player map, and now, the multiplayer map is out on Xbox.

Can't wait for Ps3 release.
