(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Well this is to some of you devs out there. I have decided to kind of "quit hacking" for now as it is going nowhere. And I am going to tell you guys how you can decrypt the retail selfs, and find the ff encryption key easier.

Decrypting NPDRM Selfs: Port over graf_chokolos payload to 3.55. You might be able to run it with multiman but idk, havent tried it. To port it over either make your own for 3.55 using his idea or try to actually port his. This is just an idea that has been done.

Finding FF Encryption key: Look through Black Ops disk eboot.bin->elf files. I have heard it is easier to find the key in those files from someone who has had ff mods. (Same guy who got the NPDRM decryption working)

note: I am not leaking his work since his work since I thought of this idea and he made it happen. No taking credit for this as I thought of this idea on my own, even though you may of thought of it too and not told anyone...

Why port the payload when you can downgrade 3.55 to 3.41 easily I got a p3go maybe later today ill try to decrypt it

Because its signed using 3.55.... The payload uses the ps3 to decrypt the self and a 3.41 fw cant decrypt the self unless you somehow port the decryption function for 3.55 to 3.41...

When you decrypt a .self it makes 2 useless files that you cant do much with but examine but recently someone released something to make it into a valid .elf. so I think it wouldent be to difficult now and I believe bo is encrypted with the 3.41 key and downgrading is not that difficult.
