DMCA 2000 No Console bans from games
The Digital Multimedia Act of 200 states that you cannot ban system from a game. You can only ban the account that has been hacked or exploited. Stopping someone from playing a game that they payed for and deserve to play is not legal..
"Video games accessible on personal computers and protected by technological protection measures that control access to lawfully obtained works, when circumvention is accomplished solely for the purpose of good faith testing for, investigating, or correcting security flaws or vulnerabilities, if:
The information derived from the security testing is used primarily to promote the security of the owner or operator of a computer, computer system, or computer network; and
The information derived from the security testing is used or maintained in a manner that does not facilitate copyright infringement or a violation of applicable law."

This is being taken into new hands and the issue will be addressed quickly. I will agree that hacking should not be tolerated. But you cannot stop us from playing this game if it has been bought.
If they had of concentrated on fully finishing the game instead of allowing Activision to rush them, they would have been able to make the game unable to be hacked!

Im sorry but i find this just useless. I dare you to sue them! you wouldnt even be able to provide a retainer for a lawyer. To go up and sue a giant corp. like treyarch/activision you will need a nice stack of cash that you can blow which, lets face it, you prolly dont have.

I can see the news now "14 year old sues Treyarch". Why are you even talking about this? You hacked the game or played on a hacked/modded account, they have every right to ban you. Your being immature complaining about it. Half the people on this forum don't see it from Treyarch's point of view, they spent probably millions developing the game and a few thousands skiddies like you come and hack/ruin their work. Obviously they're going to ban you. At least do some research on the hacks your doing before doing it to see if theres a chance of getting banned.
