TO BE THE HOST

Get ur friend to invite you twice (keep one invite for l8r)
Join - tell him to search for hardcore SnD
Join a lobby tell him to back out with party
Tell him to switch to combat training and to then back out
At this point you will get the game lobby closed screen - press x
Now you have the circle loading screen - press O
Now ur at the multiplayer menu
Press triangle for friends list
Notice you can send an invite - invite ur friend
BACK TO THE FRIEND
He just backed out from combat training
He needs to go player match then private match
He sets up unlimited lives etc (or load from fileshare)
He goes General Options - lives n health press x
He edits the 3 settings and leaves on that screen
He then uses the invite you sent him whilst u are in the multiplayer menu
NOW this puts your friend into a hardcore SnD lobby!!!!!
You are still at multiplayer menu but you two can talk briefly
So now YOU go player match then private match, set custom settings or load from fileshare
You cant hear eacother now
Go General Options - lives n health press x
Now leave on that screen
Use the 2nd invite you got earlier to join his lobby
When u join tell him to close the screen n back out
YOU ARE NOW HOST
Set the 3 settings on the lives n health pop up n press O
Invite ur friends to start the match
