(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey guys, I heard alot of people hating the Monkey rounds and losing your perks from them also some people dont know what are Monkey rounds are so I decided to make a Thread of how not to lose your perks during the Monkey Rounds. As start this is what the Monkey round does.

The Monkeys go round and trys to steal your perks, The way you lose your perk is when a monkey attacks the perk machine for a period of time, when the Monkeys attacks a perk machine, the perk logo on your HUD will flash and beep and it gets faster meaning that there are more Monkeys on your perk machine or they have been on it for period of time.

So you are trying to kill them but do not want to lose your perks so heres the strategy that I have to prevent them from stealing your perks.

1. Its the best to get 4 players if you want save all your 4 perks from the Monkeys because each player will defend 1 perk machine from the Monkeys as there are a total 4 perks in Ascension. ( for 2 or 3 players it will be harder because each player might have to defend 2 perk machines at a time, which have a higher chance of losing the perks)

2. Use Claymores and put it near your perk machines just in case the Monkeys passes you or when you are not defending your perk machine, so that would kill them off. (good for less than 4 players)

3. Remember the Monkeys dont just steal your perks but they do attack you aswell, so be careful as they are small and quite hard to see.

4.When you killed all the monkeys, it will give you Max Ammo also The monkeys do drop a ramdom perk bonus only if they havent touch the perk machines

there are 5 perks in ascension: Juggernaut, Speed Cola, Quick Revive, Stamin Up, and PhD Flopper but you can only have 4 of the 5

You can get all five if you already have 4 on a monkey round and kill the monkeys before they touch a perk. Once they drop the perk and a member picks it up, you should have all five.

So that's why the monkeys dropped a perk 1 time and they didn't another. Gotcha. And why can you only have 4 perks?

They took out double tap :O? Damn, well once the maps come out for PS3, the 4 perks for me are all 5 except Quick revive. Good post though, now I'm prepared ^^

after i killed the monkeys it gave me a perk bonus with a blue icon of a man and a fork lift looking thing behind him. What perk was that? I never seen it before, not sure what it was. Didn't have time to figure out how to use it.

another helpful hint is use the raygun! its a one shot kill and one clip can kill almost a whole round of monkeys. black holes help and so do the doll grenade things. dont throw regular grenades cause they throw them back at you!

You can have the monkeys give you a fifth perk if you have four allready but it means you also have to defend that one which is easy cuz one guy can hold jugger and quick revive theyr really close
