It's kinda obvious .. Because it says CONSOLE banned ..
But they ban by the PSid .. Not the PSNid many people get confused
So yeah you need another ps3 to play.

Yes, this is entirely true. Your banned by Console ID, not IP, MAC, or any other way that can be changed. New hardware fixes the problem. It's been proven, actually. There's a link a few posts down to my thread that explains this.

the PSN ID has nothing to do with it. developers are given the PSIDs (PS3 system's unique ID code, similar to MAC address) of the systems using they're games on PSN. by banning the PSID of your ps3 you can't access the server. There is a way to change the PSID (I won't tell you how though) BUT you'd need to change it to one of a working ps3 (because it seems like every PSID needs to be whitelisted for PSN access by $ony).
I can confirm this works but can't give any proof because making a vid of a non banned ps would be useless.
I can also confirm that a perm ban is not resetting your stats, rankt etc. so you will be able to use the account you were banned with as if it was never banned.

Well if you mean PSID as console ID, then yes, correct. But, you can't change a console ID. I don't see a difference between the two but I've been told PSID and Console ID are seperate, so I believe that. But, anwyays read here:You must login or register to view this content. My thread also explains how you would go about changing PSID, but it's not confirmed working by any means.
