Do i need:

Upload more then Download speed
NAT Type OPEN
Friends who are close to me


My Download Is 3.5 and Upload is 8 , For some reason my Upload is higher than my download , In my area Everyone has a speed of Lower then 2 So me having 3.5 will it help me Host?

I Am trying to Open my NAT Type but it allways seems to stay On Moderate.

Can you guys give me some tips on how to become host?

Sadly more then one factor for hosting games
Your need upload , download a good ping to other clients etc

No tips to give you most of it out of your hands

Have you opened all your ports needed for PSN and Black Ops??

Can you give me a tutorial or something? I Openned some PS3 Ports to open my Nat type.

I thought you need to forward these ports:

    [B][U]PlayStation 3:[/U][/B]

TCP [80, 81, 443, 3074, 5223]

UDP [3074, 3075, 3478, 3479]

Make sure your PS3 has an STATIC IP and you can set DMZ on your router for that IP.

Also make sure to give your PS3 a STATIC IP.
If nothing works than you can use the DMZ mode in you Router for your PS3. Make sure to restart/reboot your router aswell...

Correct me if i'm wrong but there's no need to forward ports if your putting your ps3 in the DMZ of your Router is there?

In DMZ your (PS3) STATIC IP may access any Port it likes
