. idk but the 360 seems to run alot smoother.i do own the old 360 ( modded) and the ps3 slim ( unmodded ). now i dont play much B.O on fear of getting banned online. i have alway been a ps fan boy, i have owned ps1, ps2, ps3 and even psp. But now my friend wants to trade his xbox slim 250 gig w/B.O for my ps3 slim 250gig and he is even throwing in a free year of live. but to me since mw1 xbox has had ALOT less problem and lags compared to the 360 ( thats all i play is cod) i need you view on this should i do the trade or not f.y.i i have already saved up 400 bucks just incase the ps4 comes out this year 
idk what to do

I HAVE AND LOVE MY PLAYSTATION 3.
I'm saying for the average gamer. I saved my money in college to buy the $400 PS3 even though I could have bought the cheap Arcade 360 but I knew it would cost more than $200 in the end and it's not what i wanted.
A lot of people play pirated 360 games too.
I'm not saying what you are saying isn't true. But for your average kid, parent or person who wants to play games and doesn't care about multimedia or future awesomeness they may prefer 360. Especially if their friends have 360 as well.
It's like telling an old fashion person all the cool shit an Iphone 4 can do. If all you want to do is text and make calls you could care less about all the other good shit it has to offer.

Porters right. alot of games I have are free non Jtag games uploaded for xbox users:420: (not by MS obviously)
and bluray.... bigest loada crap ive seen.
Some might not agree with me and I'm fine with that, some ps3 users see better graphics others dont really care about it.
If Sony turn round and said that PS4 sucks you into a virtual world then sure I'd look into buying one, but the way you throw the word Bluray around just looks like a sorry excuse for a console war cos its not all that great
as for your money issue with xbox it really comes down to what age group you fall under, if your younger you will likely struggle too buy games and LIVE by yourself, if your working a decent wage then you may not stuggle but you might not find the time for gameing and your LIVE will go to waste.
THIS is why things like this should should'nt really be discussed over the internet without taking into consideration what age the person is.
Im sure the internet is full of younger ppl who would rather start shouting out thing that are bound to start flameing rants than actualy think about it for two seconds:banhamma:
I get paid every 2 weeks so £5 a month is nothing to me, plus any xbox marketplace games for free sonds better for my standerds:bro:

The refresh rate does seem better on 360 and I just noticed that today. My brother was playing downstairs on the same exact TV as mine and it looked like his PS3 was skipping frames.
PC is worst than PS3. Its a Steam game so that a loss, not enough reg SnD servers. A majority of the servers are hardcore. But 24/7 Nuketown is a big plus

Xbox 360 = gotta pay for online ...bottom line...im gonna buy the one that is not gonna keep costing me money...if both deliver same graphics why on hell would you buy a 360 and pay mr.microsoft money for playing something that should be free? Im sorry but if you gonna go out like that you are the stupidest most dumbest person i have seen in my life.....ps3 delivers the power of blu ray and that is not crap u dumb ass...go check out KILLZONE 2 or 3 and tell me when have u seen xbox releasing a game of that quality? they cant cuz in a blu ray you got 100 gb ..50 gb on each side dual layer so more data can fit in...thats why killzone is only for ps3 and u can see how amazing that game looks...360 cant stand a chance with the killer graphic in that game cuz they only got DVD's..lol...i can buy or rent blu ray movies and watch them on my ps3 hooked up to my 47" samsung lcd tv plus play games and go online and have fun with my friends free of cost cuz unlike xbox online in ps3 is free so when you think about it hell yea a ps3 is better then a xbox ....but is like always u probally bought a xbox 360 already so u know how it is u gotta defend it .....but on the real ps3 is the way to go.....and that is an actual fact that has been confirmed already and proven on some tech sites...

Your wrong. The xbox DOES NOT have more to offer than the ps3. For starters does the xbox have a browser?Does it play bluray?No cause the ps3 is more expensive and that is why the ps3 offers way WAY more than xbox.
