I Have enabled my UPnP .
PS3 Test shows me this:

UPnP: Available
NAT Type : Type 2

I Know Type 2 is good but it's on moderate.
I Need to open it,I Have tried forwarding some PS3 Ports but they don't seem to work.


I Will reward a good ammount of VBUX To the one that HELPS me,since i tried many links but not even one of them worked.

First of all. Do not enable UPnP for a ps3. Secondly give your Ps3 a static IP from your router. Thirdly DMZ your ps3 and have the destination be the ps3's MAC address. It does not matter what ISP you have, but if you know how to work your router. Lastly the NAT type is nothing to worry about.

What speed download and upload do you have. To open ports check portforward.com

Do not turn UPNP on when DMZ is on. Just turn the other one. Use ethernet cable its much more better.

um can someone help me??? i got a new router and my old gave me a always open nat type.... i got a new one but now when i test my ps3 the nat type comes up as 2 and when i play black ops or mw2 it comes up strict... help me

Mine is always open mayB cauz in wired

I have Nat 2 and its Open, idk how yurs is moderate, weird.

if you have a mw2 disk, load it, go to multiplayer, find game, then quit putin black ops and check your nat. that worked for some people

Yeah it works, but doing that every time is aannoying .

do you're saying i shouldn't turn UPnP and DMZ Togthere
