First of all. Do not enable UPnP for a ps3. Secondly give your Ps3 a static IP from your router. Thirdly DMZ your ps3 and have the destination be the ps3's MAC address. It does not matter what ISP you have, but if you know how to work your router. Lastly the NAT type is nothing to worry about.

Type 2 - Connected through a router properly. Should have no issues.
Type 3 - Connected through a router without open ports or DMZ setup for PS3. Everything should function properly, but you may have connection, voice chat or other issues.
