As we all know tons of people put X's in their name somehow. For example: xDeeJayx, DeeXJay, or any other variation.
So do any of you know why people started doing it.

Anyway I only did it because Pollyanna was taken on GaiaOnline and I got used to using that username. Im assumeing thats why other people started doing that. Then people get stupid with X's and put them in their user name more then once.

They are giving Straight Edge folks a bad name since the majority are far from straight edge.

My personal favorites are those with "x" and some variation of "GreatScopes, Proscopes, etc"...I always prepare to smash them.

Letters that aren't commonly used in names like X and Z's are now considered to look good infront of names/behind them. Kinda like a front and last layer to the name.

when i see XXnamehereXX i just think they lack creativity

It makes you 1337 and cool because you thought of a name already tsken. I hate wen people have game specific names and its worse when coupled with xx's
