Text Tutorial:
1st: Get your friend to invite you to a player match
2nd: Have him switch is to CT
3rd: Hover over but and equip for the perk you want
4th: have him back out
5th: when it says the party is no longer active press B twice
6th: It will take you to the main menu and click Buy and equip
7th: go back to online and check your classes!

Yes the LAN one is easy and better imo. But this is nice to 
and the beauty of the lan one is that u can keep doing it
