Out of Ascension on Zombies

All right, here’s a basic guide on how to get out of ascension on zombies using the lunar lander method. This will tell you exactly what you must do… so lets get started with some FAQs.

Do I have to turn on the power?
Yes

Do I need the ray gun and thunder gun?
No, its almost better if you don’t

What guns should I get?
Light Machine Guns first (the ray gun is decent but a LMG is better), then automatic assault rifles. Anything you can spray with.

How many people do I need to perform this?
2 at a minimum, I find it easiest to get with 2, but most effective with 3. You can go with 4 if you want. Theoretically speaking you can do this solo if you're fast enough (I have before). This guide will not teach you how to do it, however you basically employ a similar technique but as soon as you buy the lander you get off and the get back on the outside. It can be pretty challenging.

What exactly does this glitch do?
Well that's a good question... I haven't mentioned that yet. Now you probably already know, but for those that don't this is for you. The glitch lets you ride on the outside of a lunar lander and jump off, you can use this to get on different buildings or off the map to just explore and have fun. In this guide I will show you how to get onto the lunar lander and then jump off onto a certain building so that you arrive in the pack-a-punch room with the door to the room still closed. That way if you leave one person just outside the pack-a-punch room its easy for those inside to get tons of kills and quickly get to a high level. There are other places you can go or other buildings you can get on as well.

Alright lets get started….

Step One:
Elect a person to be killed repeatedly, who won’t get many kills, and will be also responsible for opening all the doors.

If there are three of you have the person opening all the doors get at least 2 windows when starting.

Rush through the early levels. Move out of the starting area by round 3-4. Progress up to the random weapon box at the top of all the stairs. Have everyone except for the person opening the doors (who should have already opened all the doors to there) buy from the random weapon box until they get desired weapons.

When you get to a somewhat later round, like 7-9, make a crawler using explosives. Then have the door opener open all the doors to the main platform/stage area (where everyone usually camps) and all the doors to the lunar lander pictured below (you can get there from the first area the random weapon box is in).

(its the one nearby the sickle [bowie knife equivalent])

Have everyone head back to the stage/platform area. If all the gunners have their appropriate guns have them purchase PHD Flopper (yes you need to do it). If they can’t afford it kill the crawler and buy it later on, once all the gunners have their guns and PHD Flopper and all the necessary doors are open, wait until the end of the round and make and entertain a crawler.

Step Two:
Have the “gunners” head to the lunar lander area that was opened up by the door opener. Have the door opener with the crawler stay by the main stage/platform area.

One at a time the gunners will have to position themselves correctly on the outside of the lander and have the door opener call it. Then the gunner will jump onto a building and proceed into the pack a punch area. Then the lander will be called back to the other gunners, and they will rinse and repeat until all the gunners are in the pack a punch area. Smile

How do I do all that? Well no worries I’ll explain.

The gunners need to position themselves one at a time as follows:

You’re going to want to walk over and look at the ground crouching to the area the arrow is pointing:

You’re going to want to line it up exactly (looking as far as you can at the ground) to look like what it shows in this picture. Your screen must look exactly the same as the picture:

Then once in position have the gunner being launched tell the door opener to “launch”. This would tell the door opener to call the lunar lander back to the main stage/platform area that the door opener is at with the crawler. Hopefully the gunner is on the outside of the lunar lander and it takes off.

You’re going to want (while in air) to look for a certain building which you absolutely must jump onto. Its pictured here:

Once your on the building just jump off it and crawl through into the pack-a-punch area.

Crawl into here and down into the pack a punch area (just crawl right through the launch thingy – you’ll be able to walk through it):

Once all the gunners have successfully entered the area the door opener can kill the crawler and should then run to the area right outside of the pack-a-punch room (the route you’d normally take to get there). Do not open the door to the pack a punch room. Just have the gunners shoot out the windows while the door opener remains close to the metal door/wall (so he can be revived by the gunners through the wall).

just curious why is phd flopper required, does it allow you to survive the fall?
And also any areas you can get to and keep close so you can buy the gun on the wall over and over and still kill zombies?

PHD flopper basically prevents you from being able to kill yourself, no fall damage, no explosive/splash damage. So when you have PHD flopper on you can jump off the lander without dying/taking damage.

There are places you get get out of and buy guns but while the glitch is in effect there aren't any places you can go. That's why its key to have one person outside (no matter what glitch you do) so they can get max ammos.

there is a spot near phd flopper were you can be out of the map and pick up powerups.

Do the lander glitch at phd flopper and land on the roof there.to the right of the lander is a walkway up some stairs with a window.drop on the little ledge to the right of the window.when the zombies are at the barrier kill them.when they drop a power up walk forward to the barrier and pick it up.

and as for proof just try it.Ive done this in solo and it works great.

also if you jump over the walkway from the same roof you can do a bit of skywalking

dude, your retarded, everyone from the pope to goat farmers in Afghanistan know how to get out of ascension. You literally took the same type of glitch and made half a dozen threads about and not just you but its just stupid. Give me negative rep for saying it but your the cheat just trying to get everyone in this damn forum to give you a thumbs up for nothing.

There is a way to get power ups pretty easy using the PhD flopper lander

Best done with 3 people but can be done with 2 and try and get juggernog from the monkeys if possible without opening the door for it.

Take the lander and get one person on the roof opposite the flopper on the other side of the lander and walk across the ledge to the the fuel truck near the first mystery man node you can funnel all the zombies in front of the metal board there, have a second person stay ontop of the roof and have the third person(if you have 3+) either on the other fuel truck or down on the ledge near the door.

Now whenever a max ammo drops have the guy on the roof jump down and grab it (black hole devices help here) call in the lander and run back in the corner by the barrels where you should only get the odd zombie from the doorway come to you and when ready jump back up on the roof.

Also if the one who jumps happens to go down while on the ground then have them go to where the horde of zombies are being funneled and bleed out because this will allow pickups even after there dead(all but death machine).
