PRO PERK GLITCH

WHAT YOU NEE
a friend OR just a game invite will do
your computer connected to the same internet your ps3 is :derp:
file(s) to upload/download
3000 cod points for each perk
a brain

***note: this glitch will apear in only the corresponding custom class slot in player match and LAN match. it will not appear in your online perk menu either, so choose what you want, where you want it. I also strongly recomend creating your 6-10 classes first, so that you can copy them to their correct slots and still be able to create different perks in slots 1-5


1) enter the LAN lobby menu, go to edit custom classes, select the class slot you want the perk for, open the perk selection page, toggle the perks PRO by pressing SQUARE, hover over your desired perk

2) Slow your internet by using your computer. this can be done easily by uploading a video to youtube and downloading one AT THE SAME TIME

3)while the connection is being slowed, open your game invite from the XMB menu of your ps3

4)click join, your system should lag for just a second and than the green boxes displaying the perks price should apear next to all of the pro perks.

5)Click on your desired perk, than select buy and equip (yes it does cost you 3000 cod points for each perk )

6) back out of the LAN menu, go to your classes, and check out your new pro perk :y:

7) repeat as needed

Idk if this still works because I tried it several times with no success, I think that it is patch unless someone could prove me otherwise...

It still works, I did it yesterday. The only difference is that it's a bit harder to do since you have less time after the patch.

Why are people posting the same over and over?

can this be used to unlock gold camos?

There are newer ways that work better and don't require you to use the computer to slow down your connection. Regardless, this has been posted far too many times now :/

yeah, i agree its been posted alot lol. but no it doesnt work for gold cammo. im experimenting with it for other uses tho, theres potential. and also yes, as of 2/20/11 it works fine
