did u try the full format the very long one?

This is happening to a friend of mine too, freezes on the multiplayer menu every time.

Probably has to do something with your router try turning it off & your ps3 for a while.

you can get banned from multiplayer and still be allowed to play zombies because its a whole different part of the game

Oh. I thought you got banned all together cause its Black ops Servers... Cause i got perm and it was from both. O.o

You get a message when you're banned.

My friend just plays normally, no mic, no offensive emblems, no boosting, no hacking.

Ergo, it's not a ban.

That happens to me sometimes. Just shut down the system and leave it off for a little bit and also restart your modem and wireless
