Step 1. Shoot your l96
Step 2. Start to sprint right after you shoot it.
Step 3. Knife straight at them.
Step 4. If it doesn't work try not to sprint but dont let your gun bolt up and knife at them.
This will not work 100% of the time, I got a video for it also.

BTW, my friend has a vid in his fileshare of this happening to him, not with the L96 but with the M27 rocket launcher. He was angry that day LOL

Don't believe any of this. It's BS. There is no "super-lunge" or "huge lunge" or whatever people keep calling it and making a new thread every time.

It's simply lag, lag compensation, and the combination of the two. No tricks.

Not to bring your thread down. But, commando lunges only happen because the game rendered you to knife them, so the game already 100% knows you're gonna knife them. but you lag, and the person you knifed had sprinted away, but since the game thinks hes next to you, you lunge.

explain i had 3 bars when i checked the lunge on theater mode
