As of now ..no.. but word is. possibly after March 8 when CL security patch update comes out. Treyarch might realize its not possible anymore and unban

The CL security patch that is released on March 8th is for Mw2, not BO. Activision has already stated that cheating bans are permanent, sorry fellas.

Oh true ..It is for Mw2. But if you think about it why would Treyarch bother with banning hackers? It would be much smarter to just deem the game its self un-playable on their ps3. That way people can still play BO's but they would just have to purchase a new game. Also making money for Activision. But then if they console banned repeated hackers...they would then be losing money because the games wouldn't be purchased and games would be resold

You would be suprised. Some banned players buy whole new ps3s, making Sony more money. And Treyarc loves to pay sony because Sony gave Treyarc the ability to ban hackers and in Treyarc's eyes, "make the game a better place" lol.

i think they should just unban. they only stated like in a previous post that they will ban hackers on their forums which no one really goes to, since my ps3 is insured i could just break it and easily get a fresh replacement which would cost a lot of money for sony because my insurance is £30! for accidental, so really 3arc are making sony loose some money by doing this, and since sony is already loosing money thanks to LG they could go bankrupt. and to all you saying you hacked face the consequences, why are some xbl users who were Permaban got unbanned the day of release of 1st strike?
