never saw your thread also i made an initial thread in ps3 exploits and hacks and said people were msging me to move this here and to upload the act.dat and someone pmed me where i can find it on my ps3, so i guess i don't need to give you credit seeing how you did not help me at all. check the other thread if u dont beleive me

It didn't work for me... I tried it and it still has no effect... Maybe there is something more to this, something that is not in this tutorial???

now after you download the act file, you need to open ftp server and go to /dev_hdd0/home/000000*/exdata/
and place it there rewriting your existing one.
*the folders that are in the /home/ folder represent the accounts on your ps3, so count which account is yours under the user tab in the xmb and thats the folder it should go into, my user is the first one so my account folder was the first one in /home/ which was 0000001
after that load up black ops and it SHOULD be there.

The account it was activated with must still exist on the console, but you can deactivate the account and keep using the content:

Might clear some things up.
Either there are more files needed or some sort of 'Activation spoof' is needed (not aware one exists lol).
