Anyway. Area 51 was a theory about the next map after Der Riese as it would have made a good map and fit in well with the storyline. But, when Kino was out that theory was abandoned.

EDIT 1: More evidence suggesting the next map is going to be in America is, in Der Reise, where the box starts out on the wall on the left there is some writing that says something along the lines of: RETURN THROUGH A51 HER. Now, I doubt that is exactly what it says. But it is close. But, obviously, A51 stands for AREA 51.

EDIT 2: There are several maps in Black Ops based in the US. Like Firing Range, and Nuketown, and people seem to think that AREA 51 is the only possible place, but its not. You need to understand that AREA 51 is not the only possible map.

A radio in Der Riese suggests that the Nevada Base has a high quantity of element 115, this is why so many people thought that Area 51 would be the next zombie map.

In Der Riese there were 3 planks of wood one said GER for Germany, one said ENG for England and another said FRA for France. Then people thought the next map would be based in Frane and they were wrong. The only flaw in this was the ENG piece of wood, but England never came up in a map. So the 3 planks were abandoned.

Now, the first 2 maps were Nacht and Verruckt, but we did not have our 4 main characters yet (Dempsey, Takeo, Richtofen and Nikoli). They were both set in Germany however.

A lot happened in Shi No Numa, we are introduced to the 4 main characters there, there are tons of radios about the story, we meet the hell hounds and are introduced to element 115 on the map, in hell hounds, the Wunderwaffe, it is written around the map and we also see the 115 meteorite aswell. Also the map is in Japan which is important for this theory.

Then Der Riese came along and introduced the Monkey bombs and the teleporters. This was set in Germany and also involved the 4 main characters.

Then Kino came along, that was also set in Germany with our 4 main characters.

Five and Dead Ops aren't important for this as they dont involve the 4 main characters.

So were do we stand now:

Germany:

Der Riese and Kino = 2 maps

Japan:

Shi No Numa = 1 map.

So thats 2 countries, Germany for Richtofen and Japan for Takeo. Following yet?

The next and newest map is Ascension, which involves the 4 main characters and is set in Russia. The map is in Russia. Takeo, is Russian, what a suprise.

Now thats three countries all in succession:

Shi No Numa - Japan - Takeo

Der Riese and Kino - Germany - Richtofen

Ascension - Russia - Nikoli

Now my guess is that the next map will be based in America as, Dempsey (the only character not to have a home map sorta thing) is American. So, now, it turns out Area 51 might be used as a new map!

Firing Range had USA army? American zombs?

Has anyone else noticed the power switch from zombies on the map "Discovery"? I was playing S& yesterday and stumbled across it in the building directly behind the offense spawn...It would be insane to play zombies on that map =D
