I will be online within one hour, if you could help me too I would be very grateful man, I used to use the method that you have found to force the host and it worked very well all the time, but after the update is a sad story.. always when I get to the screen before the game starts I instantly lose the host, its frustrating.

The ps3 detects it if there's no voltage on the ethernet cable. Place a powered router between the ps3 and the lagswitch and it will work.

thanks man but my problem is not how to build a lagswitch, i already know that, and if not it would be ridiculousWinky Winky I use lagswitch for several years to get host and play for fun with friends and the problems just started only after the last update of psn to .06 (yesterday). even after staying with the host before game starts I just lose it when we enter in the last "standby" screen.

always dying on the beach... lol

anyone else with this problem?
if someone could test and verify if there is any change in lagswitch behavior after the last PSN update would be very useful.
Thanks in advance.

i was thinking if TheKid420 could test his method of forcing the host atm would be very helpful (at least to know if the prob is mine or geral)
