I dont think it can really be 'patched' as you say because, one, patched usually means to fix something broken i.e a glitch and two, obviously, it's the servers that the DEVS use to test, so really, all they would be able to do is block individual users, in a similiar way to how users are banned on the normal servers, or they would make it only allow certain users to connect to it. So eventualy, I would presume, we will no longer be able to play on these servers. That's just what I think...
