It may be "easier" but sniping in Black Ops isnt and never will be like it was in other COD or even Mw2. You could get a damn nuke Sniping in MW2....You'd be lucky to get Mortar Team sniping in Black Ops...

i'd have to disagree, sniping is a lot better with the latest updates. it's very use to get dogs with all sniper kills. you don't have to hide for your kills now as zooming in and shooting quick up close is very accurate.

How many people do you think can actually get Dogs sniping and quick scoping in Black Ops???

I'm talking odds not saying its impossible.

Hell I have seen people get Dogs with the Skorpion, but how common do you think that is.

There are a few good snipers, good Snipers on Black Ops are the most skilled people playing, since it is so hard.

The majority of the time Sniping is for montages, or fun. The G11 in particular can do what a Sniper can, and hip fire is deadly up close.

what is your dang problem with sniping, just because you cant snipe it doesnt mean we cant

any good player can do it. i snipe in this game because lets face it, most people you run into are garbage. you very rarely run into a party thats gonna give you a challenge. so why not give yourself a small disadvantage to make things interesting.

sniping in black ops isn't as hard as people make it out to be. they just make it seem extremely hard because they were crappy snipers in the first place. it took about 1 day of playing on mw2 with SoH Pro to be able to quickscope properly. black ops is not the case and because of that not many people want to learn.

Haha, my problem with Sniping is the MAJORITY of people who Snipe do it trying to get Montage clips, they dont cap flags and they die a lot.

I play Ground War mostly. And I have seen maybe 3 good Snipers on in Ground War. The maps are way too small. There are like 3 common sniper spots on each map. And unless your team is good the enemy will run up in your spawn and find your sniping ass after you get like 3-4 kills.

You can snipe all you want, but the MAJORITY of Snipers K/D is below 1.0

If you snipe on certain maps like WMD or Discovery, then cool. If you are good at Sniping, then cool. But dont act like the vast majority of snipers are terrible. Why would their even be a need to make a thread saying how sniping is easier if it didnt suck ass to begin with?

So if you are good at Sniping I appalaud you sir, because you are a beast. However if your idea of good is getting 360 scopes or Spy Planes all game, then not so much...

my idea of sniping is: being able to take someone before the other gets you, simple as that

That is my point exactly. Most people suck ass with GUNS, so you know they will be worse trying to Snipe. If you guys are good at Sniping, then I give you props, no doubt. But you know the majority of Black Ops players are terrible at Sniping.

Maybe its because all they try to do is Quick Scope and they cant Hardscope aka SNIPE and Quick Scope or idk. But the majority of Snipers suck in Black Ops for the very reason you mention and that is a fact. I play Ground War so my objective is to win and get kills. And in ground war, most Snipers dont do so hot.
