Do a barrel roll!
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Ok the deal My connection sucks I have over 8 days played
in Black Op's and I allways get stuck on 2 or 3 bars max
I have never been host that was until today

I have to say wow what a diffrence being host makes.
Suddenly the game becomes enjoyable to play I seemed to reload and aim quicker I could move faster and even turn on players really fast and kill them.

here is a quick video I put together from the game I was playing when I was host

[ame=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kku_1dGBfb8]YouTube - I GOT HOST[/ame]

what do you guys think do you ever pull host or do you never pull host?. do you find it an advantage or a disadvantage because I've actually heard people complain about being host because there internet is so laggy..

Well , I Must Say Damn Because Thats A Freakin' Badass Connection !! On Guam The Max I Can Get is Only 18.0 Mbps and I Am Only At 7.0 Mbps Because 18 is $252!

I Must Admit That Host Is A Pretty Strong Advantage , Because I Raised My KDR To 1.50 to 1.56 , And I Had 3 Good Rushing Games (Considering I Never Camp lol) In A Regular Tdm. I Went 52-3 ,42-4, And 30-2. All From Host. Smile

Your speed isn't everything.. Imagine internet has a highway system.

Say you have 15mpbs and 70 ping.

one lane both ways,
15 is the maximum your car can do but the speed limit is 70*unlike in the real world, the lower the number the better*

Basically you can have a fast speed, but your ping affects how long it takes your information to travel.

A-lot of networks are starting to do channel bonding, kind of like having a 4 lane highway if one lane gets crowded you switch over to the next one.

I'd recommended looking reviews up of your isp and if you can upgrading your modem and router, and always go wired.

I get the same amount of lag.......
Little bit better due to the client filter

All CODs have been about connection and line of sights.
It a shame
Imo COD should move to about aim and less about connection. Other P2P games have done it why not COD. Would improve the game alot more.

OP the host gets less power this time around not sure what Trey has done...

Host in MW2 and below was a gift from god.

Host in Black Ops is bullshit. The game doesn't run smooth, it lags out hard, so when you come round that corner and the other guy hasnt seen you yet, usually your screen is choppy so you can't shoot him.

Another thing is random headshots... I pull host 9/10 games. I have almost 60k kills and just over 3k headshots. That ratio may be right, however the amount of times I've been killed by headshots makes me think otherwise, at least half of my deaths are random bullshit headshots, no joke. People seem to be able to hipfire from ACORSS THE MAP and still ping off a headshot, not to mention the amount of killcams I've watched where people aim at my legs and below and get headshots.

Either Treyarch has nerfed being host, or the hit detection is really, reallllllyyyyyy ****ed.

Yeah, the hit detection is HORRIBLE in black ops, i shot a bullet once and the bullet hole was in the ground, yet the guy died ??? host is also nerfed badly

In the game on this video everyone on my team and everyone on there team had three bars except me I was the only one on 4

Idk I've never been host before so I can't really judge much of an opinion on what it's like to be constantly the host and have that extra advantage or in some cases according to what some of you guys are experiencing extra disadvantage of being the host with all the lag issues that exist throughout the game

I'm playing this on ps3 btw if your wondering.

m8 you were there for half of the vid :n:
