I have tried all search options (local, local only and deafult) and all gives me the same old 2 bar nearly every game. My nat type is open and all the ports black ops uses are open. My ISP gives me a 20 mbps download and a 2 mbps upload. Speedtest.net shows about 12-17 mbps download (12 if my family is on) and a constant 2 mb upload. Still my connection sucks balls. Any tips on how to get a better connection? The connection strength is around 95% and black ops tells me my bandwidht is around 6 mbps. WTF is wrong please help me.

if you are host, then you should be getting the 4 bars and everyone else gets 3-4 bars..

Ive got about 10mbps but I dont always get 4 Bars, Its very random.

Part of the reason is because ps3 got shafted on black ops. I would recommend using a wired connection if you aren't already as this greatly improved my connection.

Im not stealing anyones internet. No one is on mine aswell its WPA-2 16 digit password. Also the speed test thingy on black ops (If you press options in MP and then select) shows me that i have a 6000kbps download. Also all I want is to have an 3 bar each game. I dont need a 4 bar. But 75% of the matches I get a 2bar.

btw: running an wired connection is not an option.

Wireless speeds are slower than wired. Good upload speeds are also important, which you do not have.
