as you can see, there is telephone at almost every single room or part of the map "Ascension" and i kinda think it is an easter egg.
when i was playing, the phone in the spawn room beside the lunar lander actually ringed so i thought i'd pick it up and when i did it made a sound, the sound was when ur out of ammo and make like clicking sound and then it says "need some beans for the chowder here" so its some how related to five.
also the one near the PHD flopper there is a telephone if u pick it up it will say something about hyena, if you didnt know hyena is actually a word that you can spell in the lunar lander part of mystery man easter egg..:wtf:
i didn't pick all of the telephones up but i will try to soon so maybe theres more secrets to it
and read my previous topic about these words that you spell they somehow do something cause the code showed h.y.e.n.a and it showed secret part or something like that beside it, so maybe the telephones are important somehow...maybe
it kinda make sense to me, doesn't it to you?

The phone has rung once too! but the phone was one floor down near the box (beginning spot). it was ringing and i held square (ps3) and it was just like background noise. maybe we can find all phones and answer all??

yeah it was JFK himself but i dont think hes calling for help cause he says the exact same thing on map five when he doesnt have ammo

Each phone has a specific requirement to make it ring... it's not random. The one in the spawn rings when there's a fire sale.
