What is camping
These days people call you a camper for simply winning a match.
FOR ME A CAMPER IS A PERSON WAITING IN A LOW TRAFFIC AREA FOR PEOPLE TO CROSS THERE PATH,IF THIS IS YOU,YOU ARE A CAMPER
I hate snipers but In my opinion a sniper can never be a camper because on black ops its almost impossible to run & gun with the sniper gun.

TRUE, LEGIT camping is sitting in one spot most of the game.
It is the most overused term in the COD community. Examples of MISUSE of the term.
If you use Ghost but RUSH enemies with constant air supprt and eternal Spy Plane.
If you kill a guy inside a Bldg.... THE SAME bldg he is in btw.
If you have a good KDR in game.
If you spawn trap.
I have had games with a full crew using Blackbirds all game, rushing and killing. And got called campers. The term is misused. People give LEGIT campers too much credit. The are easy kills, and Blackbirds and Dogs find them.
And the sad thing is even if you rush and dont camp, you are...a "TRYHARD".
LEGIT campers are lame but easy to kill. I play for fun and challenge so camper or rusher deaths dont bother me. People need excuses for dying.
If a LEGIT camper kills me more than 2 times while he is in the same spot, then I am the NOOB. Most people dont think that way.

In my mind...if you constantly get killed by someone who is inferior to you then you my friend, are not that good to begin with.

You do what works for you, no-one can tell you what works for you except yourself I don't judge anyone. If that's your strategy then kool I however RUSH and am always on the move and got a 1.92 so like I said do what works for you :bro:

My point is online gaming is full of people making excuses.
People who ragequit because of "campers" are lame. I want to play with winners not people using excuse ridden terms like :
Tryhard
Panic Knife
Kid
Ghost campers
Campers...
At the end of the day, a death is just that. I dont like dying but I dont try to justify every death as a "he" did something wrong excuse.
I like to rush but as I say, a rusher with 1.0 KDR is not better than a camper with 2.0 KDR. Its sad people convince themselves otherwise. LEGIT campers dont get many kills anyway unless some scrub keeps getting killed by him.

Just yesterday I was playing TDM had a decent game like 28-6 on Summit also got a game winning kill I was playing with the FN FAL I think they were all using 74u's or silenced shooty's and when the game ends I get called a bunch of names among them being a "NOOB, CAUSE I PLAY WITH THE FN FAL" If I'm not mistaken it takes skill to play with the FAL specially to out gun a 74u with RF soo you got a point people feel they have excuse there EVERY DEATH because someone else did something wrong as opposed to your own fault.

The ONLY thing I bitched about was Noobtubing w/OMA on MW2.
Noobtubing doesn't require anything but shooting at the ground or in the sky.
I LOVED MW2 but after 10 mins of getting Noobtubed or killed by a dude w/painkiller, you will HOPE for BO campers or 74u users lol.

camper - people who be in one location of the map in objective games not capturing or defending just camping for k/d {example} last night me and my squad playing moshpit , ctf and on the enemy team there was one dude camped out in our spawn with a t.i. , he didnot capture one flag even when he called in his dogs. we won the game and the people on the other team where bitching at him so much plus me and my team calling him a camper dude just backed out. his k/d was 3.02 and his w/l was .34
camping in tdm are usually the douchebags who go into a crib , put down a claymore and get kills from the window. this type of camper will have flak jacket to prevent the barrage of gernades which will be thrown at him. even after you kill him , he will respawn and work his way back to the same spot
defending is defending and in black ops you get points from capturing flags , defending hq , and capturing domination flags. i love that shit. u can tell who was playing objective in the game and who was just camping.
all this is imo btw
