Black Ops Takes Home GAME Award at BAFTA
Black Ops walked away with big honours at this year's annual BAFTA Awards, taking home the GAME Award. For those unfamiliar, BAFTA is the British Academy of Film and Television Arts and each year they hold a prestigious Video Game Awards ceremony of sorts.
One of the chief honours that can be given at the BAFTA Video Game Awards is the GAME Award, which is the only award voted on by the gamers. This year, the nominees for the GAME Award included:
Call of Duty: Black Ops
Red Dead Redemption
Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit
Mass Effect 2
Super Mario Galaxy
Heavy Rain
Halo Reach
FIFA 11
Dance Central
Limbo :wtf:
The team at Treyarch and Activision took home the honour and were announced as the winner on Wednesday, March 16th.

Congratulations to Treyarch, Activision and all of those involved in making the game, I guess.
So, where does that leave us? the
real gamers. Yea sure black ops is a great game, at times, but problems such as connection issues still harm your online experience of this game. It's been said alot lately, "why can't they spend some of their jackpot on improving the online game?" I couldn't agree more.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm sure that most people that have bought any of the last 4 CoD games have bought them mainly, if not solely, for the multiplayer. Yet many gamers seem to be unhappy with their award winning purchase, the reason being the multiplayer.
So, why the award? was it for the story mode? the multiplayer? or just the whole game in general? and is there any
real gamers out there that
actually voted for this game?
