Have you ever had on of those games .. Can't seem to get a kill because the whole enemy team is camping, or spawn trapping. And you don't want this to effect your K/D Ratio. I have found the simplest way to stop this from saving to your Combat Record in which doesn't effect your K/D Ratio without backing out and it counting as a lose and saving the record.

These instructions below work on both Xbox, and PS3 and are pretty simple.

Step 1. Be in a game that your doing bad in and don't want it to save.

Step 2. Sign out of your Xbox LIVE or PSN Account

Step 3. If done correctly you should get this notice "You must be signed in to "Game Console" Network to play "Game Console" Network matches"

Step 4. Once you see that, congradulations your bad match hasn't saved and you backed out of that game.

Step 5. Don't forget to sign back in Winky Winky

Thank's for reading,

(+Rep and thanks if this was useful, but you don't have to Winky Winky)

For ps3, you have to quit the game, not sign out.

Nope, signing out closes the connection to the BO Server which prevents anything from saving, in which kicks you out of the lobby.

Quitting the game does the exact same thing. Stop trying to sound smart when you're wrong.

No it will save it lol Go check, because I did that method in all the old cods and it worked but with this game it doesn't

Buddy go away .. I know what i'm talking about as i've done this before nothing adds up, it doesn't count as a loss, and nothing is saved.

Lol obviously you're wrong. You can think you're right all you want, but you're wrong. Go test it then come back and say something.

Dashboarding (xbox) pushing PS button and hitting quit game (ps3) both do the EXACT same thing, and BOTH will add a loss to your combat record.

How about this .. Before opening your mouth .. or typing on a keyboard go try it out for yourself.. And add it to the poll above. Okay, thanks.

I've done it plenty of times, on ps3 and xbox both. How about before YOU say something, go test your little theory and it'll count as a loss. Then try pushing the PS button and quitting black ops, it'll do the exact same thing as signing out. I'm really not concerned with whether or not you believe me, I just hope eventually you realize you're incorrect.

If you say so :y: connection drop = loss which is what happens when you exit the game in the middle of a match or sign out. I'm done arguing with a dumbass.
