(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); There's been a few recent posts about playing dead on black ops, i just wanted to put what they've said togethor with what i use, and the best ways to use it.

The main method and most useful method is using a semtex. You apear dead, and if they somehow do notice you and shoot you, you drop a live semtex. This is very useful in game modes that involve capturing a hq, or holding flags. (I pleyed dead on the b flag for 9 minutes once, and wasn't found the entire game, funniest game of my life) Also, in HQ, if you lie within range of the HQ, they can't cap until you move or die, and if they kill you, you drop the semtex, killing anyone within the blast radius. (excluding flak jacket)

The second method is practically the same. The only difference is that instead of a semtex, you use a secondary grenade, a decoy, nova gas, flash or stun. This is better if you're trying to play dead on a HQ against a team that mostly uses flak jacket. You can use a nova like a semtex, and although not as efective, tactical mask is not as widely used, meaning it willl afect more people in a small area. If you use warlord pro and tactical mask, you can release the nova where you are when people soround you, and then can use another nova, provided by warlord pro. This is very useful on games involving a bomb abjective, as you can toss it towards the bomb, making the other team unamble to defuse the bomb until the nova clears, often costing 6 seconds

The final way to play dead is to use a tactical insertion. click the equiptment button, and allow it to prepare itself to be planted, then stop, and lay down. Yhis is probably the most effective way to play dead against an unexperienced group. However, a trained and hardened COD player will sometimes notice. :mudkip:
To do any of these you MUST have ghost pro. Playing dead is almost completly useless without it, becuase the enemy can see your name in red, which defeats the purpose. Any 2nd and 3rd perks work, but warlod pro (if you have it) is recomended if you do the semtex method.

Never done this before tho. What about that Tac insertion? Use it and hold the R1 button then lay down and release it? Because u only say:

Make it prepare itself and then stop and lay down.

So i guess u hold R1 laydown and press Triangle or such?

sorry for not being really clear, bassically u pop a tac, aand just lay there. You dont place it, you just lay there.

I remember when it was cold blooded pro and double tapping Triange/Y and ninja defusing =D

I had more fun in MW1 just spamming triangle in a 1v1 match, people always ran right over me..
