(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); In my opinion, yes it does. You have to realise that this is CALL OF DUTY, not Mag or Battlefield. Cod is all about killing each other for the most part, thus resembling elements of an arcade shooter. You can, and 90 percent of the time you will, do everything by yourself and without communicating, so teamwork isn't even used that much in this game. So the lack of communication also means losing and winning isn't a big deal, thus your win/loss ratio is hardly noticed. So that is why K/D is always noticed and is the big factor in telling who is good and who sucks. So that is why I personally believe K/D is important in cod games. What is your thoughts on Kill-Death Ratio, is it important?

And I'm just looking for different people's opinion. Theres no right or wrong answer Smile

It does matter because it shows how good u are... My kdr right now is 2.19 I know thats not that good but the reason is not 4.00+ like in the other CODs is because in black ops I've only played search and destroy to rank up fast, it took me only 9 days for 15th so thats not that bad and it takes a lot of skills to have a 2.00+ kdr in S&Awesome face and i know I would have a 4.00+ kdr if i would play objective games but now that im 15th prestige I'll start playing free 4 all and ground war once i reach lvl 50 and since I already unlocked everything its time to start having fun and getting my kdr up... Those of u that say that it doesnt matter are provably saying that because u guys have shitty kdr lolol

Not always true, my 2nd account has a higher KDR then my 3rd. Reason is because I pretty much only spawn trapped, that's how you get KDR higher Winky Winky

KDR does show intimidation but to me KDR only matters on how their WLR is at..

K/D doesn't matter too much to me. It can ethier show that you're actually a good player, or that you camp to get a lot of kills.

Cake is a lie
Yes. Mostly depending on game modes. People with high KDR usually have good scores. People with low KDR usually have low scores so the numbers don't lie.

In objective game modes I would like a guy with high KDR and plays objectives. However I would settle for a guy who doesn't play objectives but high KDR.

Lots of gamers play to win. In COD W/L AND KDR is a reflection of how good you are.

KDR does matter because it's a way to judge skill level but you can't always trust it though. Some people sign out to keep a high KDR.

IN some ways it is the same as Rep here.
People are to quick to judge you based on it and not how you got it.
It does not make you a good player if your W/L ratio is not high as well.
Same as as Rep to Post ratio.
But most people want to have a high K/D. Even when they say it doesn't matter.
What matters is how you get it.
