To get rid of George Romero (The Director who chases you) you will need the V-R11, which will also need to be upgraded. Then, quite simply make George follow you to a Water area (Eg, the starting location) And hit him a couple of times with the gun...This should make him submerge under the water were you will be free from him chasing you all the time.

Hope this helps anyone wanting to explore a bit more

I thought I remember in an interview Treyarch said there were multiple methods of taking out George? That means this isn't the only way.
