the golden rod Richtofen is referring to is hidden near the start of the map, behind a wall in the cave. You’ll then need to shoot this wall with the upgraded V-R11, although we’ve heard it also works with an upgraded Ray Gun.

no when u have the sub marine with green light u go to bottom of the lighthouse with the ice wait for zombie with the vr11 and when he turns human he runs into green light gets levitated to top and the rods outside or at the bottom.ive seen the vid cant find it or id paste it.

well my question is how do you get the submarine? we tried for 3 hours last night to find the rod and to get the sub but couldnt do either...found directions about having the ship wheel turned a certain way and the levers also but nothing worked...also in the main lake we found a "sword like" object cared into the ice on the back side of the cave...not sure what thats about though...have also heard lots of things about shooting the wall and I can assure you that doesnt work. we shot everywhere in there and nothing happened. but anyone with instructions to get the sub let me know
