Hey guys. First time posting here. I have read a few other forums and 'hints and tricks' that the PAPd VR1 and Scavenger are the only ways to kill Romero. I can say for a fact that you can do it without those, but it takes A LONG TIME.. I stayed in the first area (without removing ANY obstacles) I used the pistol, M14 rifle, and at one point the death machine. And was able to, after concentrating all available firepower (except to thin out the zombies), finally got him on round five. He came back 2 rounds later.
