Will this lead to the clean PS3 getting banned also? Will the accounts not work, will they be account banned? Or will they just be free to play except reset?
Would it be safer to just make a new account on the other PS3, add all my friends and start from scratch?

Using a banned account on a clean ps3 will ban that account also. The only option you have is to create a new account on another ps3.
