(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); it's bad enough finding a match to begin with that have no lag. But i mean dammit. out of my last 8/10 zombie matches. the Host leaves the game because he went down at round 17 and the game ends just like that without warning. can't treyarch do something about this s**t? like patch it or something. it gets boring playing in a zombies match knowing that at any moment the host could leave at a high round and your whole team is basically screwed.

Why can't it be that if everyone leaves the game and it's just YOU playing by yourself and you happen to make it far. your record still reflects in the leaderboards? this will stop people from quitting. And maybe even those jackass Host out there that threaten to quit if you don't revive them.

I had problems like this. Made it to 29 but my round didn't stick but my kills and points did. So it said round 16 with 1,127 kills. Game was laggy. Spoke to Activision and this if their exact response retyped from their e-mail to me. "Because the necessary ports are displaying as closed or timed-out, the game will not be able to send and receive data properly with the servers."
In the phone conversation he explained the lagging is due to the transferring of information through Let's call it crowded ports.
Here are list of ports that Activision recommended I open in my router(doesn't matter if you are using an ethernet cable) you're still plugged into your router.
80
88
53
3074
22728
33233

Here is a link to a site from a computer behind the same router as your X-Box. Go to You must login or register to view this content. Select "check" next to port #80. This will obtain the port status of 80 (open, closed, or timed out) Repeat this process for 88, 53 and 3074
This next time I played my rounds changed and I havn't had any lag at all. Shit this was long. I hope this helps.

Yeah, Zombies can be pretty bad at times.

Like earlier today, I was playing with 3 friends and we were doing just fine until we hit round 30. During the entire round the framerate was shit, even when zombies hadn't even spawn in yet, it got even worse when they did. We all eventually wemt down because it wasn't pretty difficult playing at 5 FPS. :/

Alright Thanks for the info. i went to the link that you posted and it said that "Port 80" is closed? any idea how to set it up to where it's open? i currently use the D-Link 855 router if that helps.

im not really an expert on this i searched you tube and ngu which helped me understand some of the basics then a friend walked me through it you can also contact your cable provider but if they dont seem willing to help you, nicely express your dissatisfaction of there service and how your buddy has better service with there competetor. my friend told me they have the capability to do it remotely the person i spoke to wasn't that helpful so call them twice if needed. hope this helps

that's the thing about posting high scores on leaderboards, u need to have a good host, and one that doesn't quit, i've been into the forties plenty of times, only to be disconnected or rage quitted on.

Climbing up the ladder
They should also have the ability for people to join mid-game. Give them 60 seconds of VR-11 invincibility when they join (via invite) without insta-kill and they can jump right in.

This would work wonders in private matches. There should also be matchmaking based on leaderboard rankings and whether or not you have a mic. I wouldn't mind searching for a game for 2 minutes to find a good game.
