GameDunzo

GameDunzo is a website that hosts gaming tournaments and challenges where you can compete for money. What makes this site stand out? Dedicated Servers.

From what I understand and from the videos I have seen, I'll explain how it works in simple form:
A bot from GameDunzo joins the party and setsup the game. This removes common problems such as incorrect rules that you would get from GameBattles. This bot is the host, and since it is using the very dedicated servers from GD, everyone always has a good connection.

For more, check out their website at You must login or register to view this content.

Here is a very nice video explaining it a little more:

So, what are your thoughts? Is this a good alternative to GB?

Who said ded servers can't be done on consoles
In short this is almost like PC apart from missing a server list but even then i guess you can pick which bot sooo......

Not going to lie but the future is ded servers which we control for consoles. Devs charge a small fee for a system like this i be happy to pay

I am confused. I can't see how this can change the way a game is built to make connections?

To me it just sounds as if the bot which is the 'dedicated server' is just like a normal host but with really fast internet connections. The bot would be the pc in the bottom left in the first image which is making a really good connection to everyone playing. Other players can make still make connections to each other, just the majority if the time it is quicker to take the route through the bot since it has a superior connection.

However dedicated servers would result with the second image, meaning everyone has their own individual connection to a server.

Can anyone explain to me how this really works?
